how to report a 'BP/Spotter' session. (SF)greenspun.com : LUSENET : Team SF : One Thread |
it occurs to me that we need to figure out a standard way of doing this to avoid confusion.
let's pretend that david and bill played together at paris for an hour. let's further assume that they each started with 2000 rounds of ammunition. during this session Bill won $683, and david lost $12. so, as a team they each won $335.50.
david's post on the subject should read:
10/18/99
Paris (w/bill): 2000SBR; 1H; -12G; 0T; -12N; +335.50[+671w2]ADJN; 1988EBR
abbreviations: SBR = Starting BankRoll on hand (that's ALL BR, isolated & non) H = hours played (or decimal fraction thereof) G = Gross 'win' (before accounting for tips) T = Tips N = Net 'win' (Gross win minus Tips) ADJN = ADJusted Net 'win' (accounting for team play) EBR = Ending BankRoll on hand (ALL BR, isolated & non)this way i can easily credit david for his win (+335.50), and also update my own records as to how much team cash he has.
Bill would then make similar notations on the paper trip report that he sends me in the mail:
Date Unit Casino Shift or o'clock Hours Gross Tips Real Net Adj. Net Special Op Special Op. amt. BR on hand Comments 10/18/99 $25 Paris 4:00pm 1 $683 $0 $683 $335.50 BP $671w2 $2683 w/ david
