A. Securing Total Team Bank

Upon arrival at Trip Destination, or shortly thereafter, each member will be required to have his individual investment to the bank verified.

The bulk of the team bank (outside of daily session bankrolls) will be maintained in a secure location. This will in all likelihood be a Safe Deposit Box (the "Box") in one of the Hotels. Preferably a Hotel/Casino where we do not intend to play. In the event, a members arrival does not permit this to occur promptly, and the member is scheduled to play prior to the initial verification, such verification will take place at the earliest reasonable time following the scheduled sessions, plus/minus any such session results from these prior sessions.

B. Proofs and Verifications

Upon depositing investment monies to the team bank, each transaction will be recorded by one member and verified by a second member. Those members shall be responsible for securing the funds in the Box. A copy of the master records will be maintained in the Box for the Team Records.

C. Access to Team Bank

Team Bank, as secured in the Box will be accessed at the end of the day's sessions. 2 members will be assigned to access the Box, and we will arrange with the provider of that Box that it is a requirement for 2 such persons to access the Box at any time. In the event it is necessary for only one member to access the Box, such member will provide a detailed report of any solo accessing.

D. Deposit and Distribution of Session Monies

At the end of the day's play, we will hold a brief team meeting, where the team's financial position will be tallied and individual session banks for the next day will be distributed. Each member will receive and verify two session bankrolls for the next 24 hour period. Everyone will also receive a hard figure as to the team's win or loss total at that point.

The two members assigned to monitor the Team Bank, will then deposit the remainder of the cash in the Box, and record the amount upon such deposit.

E. Need for Emergency Cash

In the event emergency cash is required for any reasonable purpose, the member requesting such monies will contact the Team Manager or another designated person, who will make the necessary decision, and then arrange for access of the Box by either one or both members who have such access, in order to provide such funds. The Team Manager may also elect to exercise the option of locating another member who may have surplus cash to hand over to the member in need.

F. Personal Safety Precautions

Securing Cash on your person - Exercise care in keeping cash in a safe place when in Casinos and traveling between Casinos. Team monies should be keep separate from personal cash and it is recommended to carry such team monies in a side pants pocket or inside jacket pocket. Use of rear pants pockets or purses/pocketbooks should be avoided. Use of a money belt is also A MUST.

When carrying chips, keep a pouch (or a sock) in which to carry chips. Keep this pouch in a side pocket. Loose chips can fall out of your pocket, especially getting in and out of taxicabs!

Traveling from place to place - When walking to and from Casinos, use main thoroughfares and avoid isolated areas. When driving, use Valet Parking and avoid Self Parking the car.

Cashing Out - Be alert to anyone paying too much attention to you when cashing your chips at the Casino Cage. Ensure no one is following you upon exiting the Casino.

If you lose team money (you got mugged, it got stolen, or misplaced), you will be subject to an immediate polygraph test. If the results of the polygraph test indicate that the loss of money was a result of your non-compliance with the team's policies as outlined, or it is deemed by management that you were careless (and that is how the money was lost or stolen), then the amount lost shall be deducted from your winning shares.

If the results of the polygraph test indicate that the loss of money was not caused by your non-compliance with team's policies as outlines, and it is deemed by management that you took all reasonable precautions and the money disappeared anyway, then you will not make up the loss out of pocket; it will be considered a losing playing session (by you) and will be reflected in the accounting program (but not the performance spreadsheet).

Periodic polygraph testing may be performed on players at the sole discretion of management.

If a player refuses to submit to a polygraph test, or if after polygraph testing, it has been determined that a player has been dishonest in any way, such player will be dismissed from the team and the player may forfeit all existing investments (or portion remaining), rights to any winnings realized at such time or both. The decision of the Team Manager in such delicate matters will be final.

In the event the results of a player polygraph test are not satisfactory, the player may request a retest at his own expense. The Team Manager will conduct all dealings in this respect in a fair manner.

Be careful to keep all paperwork regarding team business under lock and key in hotel rooms and cars.

Be wary of what you post on the internet. Many of the blackjack sites on the web have much value, but they are not secure and it may be dangerous to post too many details of when & where you played and who (other team members) you play with.

F. Personal Safety Precautions - Revision #1

Where it reads:

"If a player refuses to submit to a polygraph test, or if after polygraph testing, it has been determined that a player has been dishonest in any way, such player will be dismissed from the team and the player may forfeit all existing investments (or portion remaining), rights to any winnings realized at such time or both. The decision of the Team Manager in such delicate matters will be final."

Amend to now read:

"If a player refuses to submit to a polygraph test, or if after polygraph testing, it has been determined that a player has been dishonest in any way, such player will be dismissed from the team and the player may forfeit all rights to any winnings realized at such time. The Player's existing investment (or portion remaining)shall be returned to the Player upon such a dismissal. The decision of the Team Manager in such delicate matters will be final."

Do not throw out any team paperwork in the hotel trash cans.

Do not use hotel computers (if offered in your room) to send team messages. Your own personal laptops are okay to use.

further amending required

If a player refuses to submit to a polygraph test, or if after polygraph testing, it has been determined that a player has been dishonest in any way, such player will be dismissed from the team and the player may forfeit all rights to any winnings realized at such time. The Player's existing investment (or portion remaining)shall be returned to the Player upon such a dismissal. The decision of the Team Manager in such delicate matters will be final.

i was under the impression that you were going to amend this further to be a little more forgiving. you were going to dismiss the player, but not penalize any winnings... simply 'break the bank' for that player immediately.

still a little ambiguous

If you lose team money (you got mugged, it got stolen, or misplaced), you will be subject to an immediate polygraph test. If the results of the polygraph test indicate that the loss of money was a result of your non-compliance with the team's policies as outlined, or it is deemed by management that you were careless (and that is how the money was lost or stolen), then the amount lost shall be deducted from your winning shares.

if the amount is to be deducted from the player's winning shares, then for purposes of bet-sizing, etc. are we pretending that the money is not really missing?

if we do accept for all calculations that the money is missing (and the bank is now smaller)... what happens to the excess money when the bank breaks? for example, peter had 2000 stolen from him because he was careless. we resize our BR to 2000 less. we continue playing and eventually distribute the winnings. we take 2000 away from peter... what do we do with that 2000?

it is possible that i am misunderstanding your meaning here, but if so, then there is still a problem with the wording of the manual. it needs to be clear.
