I would just like to share something. The durahan is really a great monster. Mine lasted for almost 8 years and i still think he can get past that 8th year mark (he's still getting 9-6 in Def and Pow and he's 7yrs 10 mos old). He only ate a golden peach, although i have several silver peaches thanks to this durahan.

I gave several different monsters golden peaches through the years and i found out it is most effective to feed it to it when it's stats start to dip to the lowest (i.e. Durahan Pow - 1-3). I fed my durahan the peach at 4yrs and 7mos when it's def is at a constant 1 and the next month it raised to 11. Also, it helps a lot when you fight tournaments often, its a good way to raise stats. i was able to pull a 900 pow by beating the Major 4 twice.

well i hope this helps any of you starters. BTW, a pure-bred durahan can be taken from a Dark Forces PC-CD. (it's life will be a little longer than that of a lab-manufactured durahan, i think).

True. My Durahan "Morinfen" is still going strong (+9 to power drills) at 6 years 11 months. He has 999 Pow and 999 Def and around 550 Skill due to fighting with him constantly. Battles are THE most effective form of training. Oh, and he originated in the lab. Falcon

you can find silver peaches by entering the elders cup (2nd wk of June). but you can only enter this if your monster is at least 6 1/2 yrs old. once you do, you can stock up on it by freezing your old monster every week of the year except on elder's cup week. BTW, the monsters here are no pushovers, you must at least make decent stats out of your monster (opponents are comparable to class A-B)
