Very intersting stat that I've never seen before: 1929,1987, and 1999 each saw the DJIA rise 53% from a near-crash low in a very short time. In the first two instances, we had a crash follow that 53% rise!

BTW, I note there has been a yawn in the gold mnarkets responding to today's GATA announcement.

Also, TOKYO down about 1.35% as I write this.
