Shakespeare "quotes" inside the Finnegans Wake. How is that for a topic?

What about the contemporary status of Finnegans Wake: will the masses ever read it?

Thats enough, for a start here *listens to the echo of untyped texts*

I am extremly surprised at the lack of interest in such a beautiful book of Joyce. I have to say it's probably my favorite book (probably tied with Ulysses). What I've been wondering about is what are the central literary themes that occur in the book. Some are more obvious than others. I am also wondering about the Quinet influence on the book, do you know were I can find his book? And lastly I found that I could pick any chapter in FW and begin the book from there and still get the same great impact as I do starting from 'riverrun past Eve of Adams...'. Does anyone think reading it from a certain chapter would be a better idea than starting from the normal begining of the book. Thanks.
