OT - stop posting QuickTime postsgreenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread
Hey, whoever is posting the quicktime posts please stop. I don't keep quicktime loaded and your posts cause my machine to crash. We don't need any music.
Thank you for your future consideration.

I must agree that supplied music might be a little superfluous. I've found that listening to Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust" while reading anything related to Y2k puts me in the proper frame of mind.

That music is annoying as hell. It was funny once, but not anymore. Please stop.

I caught one of these suckers on this forum yesterday. Couldn't turn the thing off. Shut down the browser, the tune played on. Nothing showed on the screen or the taskbar. Finally rebooted -- haven't heard it since. Damn nuisance. Not a courteous trick to play.
