Hallo out there,

Is there anybody who used or is using / owning the Slik Prof 4? I want to use it for Nikkor 800mm f8,0 IF-ED and F3 plus MD-4. Any advice? I saw a photo of the Slik 506QF, Video tripod. It seems to be very stable. And much cheaper here. Can I use that one as well? Thanks to everyone for helping, Ralf.

If you go to dejanew (deja.com) and search rec.photo.* for Slik Pro you should find postings from Alec Pytlowany who is a big fan of the Pro 4. It sounds like a great tripod. I've seen the Pro II in person and it is very well made IMO, so the Pro 4 should be equally good.
