We're working on next year's summer menu, so what should we be sure to include and what should we be sure to forget??? Choose your answers wisely, they might just show up on your plate next summer.

please leave out mac and cheese and burritos, for one thing, I can't eat cheese and for another, I had the worst time getting my campers to eat them. (especially after they saw that I got to eat leftovers.

Turkey ham, turkey bacon, turkey jerky, turkey casserole, turkey breast, turkey burger, turkey patties, turkey soup, turkey strips, turkey burritoes, turkey tacos, turkey stir fry, turkey salad, split turkey soup, big buffalo wings, turkey pancakes, turkey eggs, gizzards from turkeys, and a whole turkey would be great choices to serve next summer. That is all I want to eat. Hmmmm, good. Honey on the side won't be a bad idea either.

I love all camp food. It's just all so fullfilling!! I especially like the cookies, fresh from the oven,(it's an experience that I as a camper will never forget). Oh yeah, and the ORANGE JELLO ROCKS!!!!

-- Sarah Johnson (sillysmitty_2000@yahoo.com), January 30, 2000.

My favorite camp food is... um... Well, everyone had a lot of fun eating the mashed up tator tots last summer. But personally, I think that everything is awesome! The orange jello is a wonder to behold. Let's give a round of sound for our amazing cooks that come back every summer and put up with all of us. They are all so cool! Get to know them next summer. They are some of the coolest people that you will ever meet. (Trust me, I know! And, no. I'm NOT a cook.) God's Grace! Philipians 4:8

OK, OK, I know that I've already sent in an answer, but I can't help it! At Lutherhaven, there is so much to be thankful for. The food is just one of them. I love the granola in the morning, and I also like the egg-kaka, waffles, frenchtoast, and I really like Jungle breakfast. Camp food is the best! <>< Proverbs 22:1

The best thing was the beef stroganoff. Why it was discontinued is a mystery to me. The worst thing were the fish pieces. That was just straight up nasty. Thats about the only things that I can think of...

OH Yeah, Let me make more Bag Eggs!!!!

-- David Zemke (dzemke@mail.whitworth.edu), September 05, 2000.

Ok - this one is WAY to easy! See everything that everybody else said? Well, put all of it back on the menu! All camp food is good food! (But...um...could we have a little more jello this next year? I didn't get any!)

-- His Servant (Echelon_Fan@yahoo.com), September 05, 2000.

I know I already sent an answer, but I forgot a few things. Bacon. Need I say more? Ok, I will then. I love pig! It comes in two ways at camp, bacon and sausage. Make more bacon. My only other suggestion would be to cut back on the ammount of milk used at camp. I am REALLY lactose intollerant (some people just think I'm intollerant altogether, but thats them...) and can't eat half the food.

I love the walk through lunches!!!!!!

-- Ronnie (whetstine@nidlink.com), November 18, 2000.

My absolute favorite is soup and grilled cheese sandwiches! I've been to the main cafeteria at school four times; three of those times I've had that meal because it is so good and brings back totally good memories from camp! That's my favorite!! The best thing about camp, though, is that this verse speaks through loud and clear - Psalm 3

-- Jennifer Thompson (pink_car_nation@hotmail.com), November 26, 2000.

That was Psalm 34:8, in case you missed it! :)

-- Jennifer (pink_car_nation@hotmail.com), November 26, 2000.

Banick all the way!!!!!! Yum!!! Can't wait!

-- Callie Sobosky (starbright1016@yahoo.com), February 20, 2001.

It's been a while since I've been at camp, but I remember with fondness the Black Cherry kool-aid and the yummy granola. Sometimes I make hobo stew on the BBQ just for the heck of it (only when I can afford to wait a LOOONNNG time for it to cook). Hope you have a great summer!

-- Kristen Jensen (krisojen@hotmail.com), April 06, 2001.

Bannik, or however you spell it, is definately the best
