It's Going To Be Really Really Bad

Clicking thru threads this week, it's inescapably apparent that it's going to be very very very bad, worse than any of us can imagine now.

"I could be wrong, it could be worse. Infomagic"

See some signs some posters are picking up on this. Anyway we wanted to post this because it's a pretty wild feeling, watching it come down ...

Wonder when Arlin and Hardliner and Robert Cook will start posting more again.

I honestly don't know what to think!

Just have this sinking feeling.

Strengthen your spirit. It'll come in handy... I suspect.

Was at Sam's (Cary, near Raleigh) today--Columbus Day. Half-expected the place to be packed with all those government folks on holiday. Wasn't; in fact, it looked less crowded than usual. Looked in people's carts, saw none--NONE--who seemed to be buying prep stuff. Looked like normal grocery shopping to me. Eerie, definitely Rod Serling material. I'm waiting for the penny to drop, but on the other hand, hoping it doesn't, so I can finish my preps!

I feel it too but I don't really know how to deal with it. Well, I guess I do but it isn't the way I wanted things to go.

I'm sure I'll be stuck here in L.A. no matter how much I'd like to get away I can't leave my family behind, especially my mom and my 2 year old grand neice and 7 year old grand nephew. I couldn't live with myself because I am the ONLY person in my family on this coast who has any clue how bad things could get. *sigh*

Over and over again in the last few days I have heard this voice saying "it's gonna be bad. it's gonna be really, really bad." So, now I'm hearing voices ; )

I cannot believe that even with the mounting evidence the Pollys are still pushing hard for a BITR. It just isn't going to be possible.

argh...

I was at Costco yesterday and saw a few carts that were all canned food and water...some here are GIs.

I'm sitting here under the realization that I believe no matter how much a "doomer" I am I'm in denial. I'm holding on to that 5 with clear desperation now trying to gain more info to show me that crossing the threshold beyond the middle ground is truly warranted.

I'm still unsure of exactly what the ramifications are with regard to recent testimony and it's relationship with our friendly, neighborhood .mil group. Maybe I didn't get the whole picture.

Still prepping. Stepping up things a bit...trying to stay sane and feeling a tad alone.

I can relate Michael,

In fact, feel a bit like I'm in shock. The disconnect is getting so wide and yet when we dig... there it is!

Think I need to shut off the 'puter for awhile.

Still holding to the "5" just because it's a "shorter" sprint on either side.

Camping skills, Michael. They work. Got hiking boots, and backpacks for the whole family?
