I have several cyclers from Lumedyne. To me they are the best and hold up the longest, go on their website to check things out. Just type Lumedyne.

For the Nikon SB-26 battery packs are: SD-7 for 6x C-Type and SD-8 for 6x AA-Type, and plus or alone SK-6. In some places the SK-6 is called SK-6A, don't worry. Slave remote for SB-26 is SU-4, for your Vivitar try Hama as well as Lumiquest. Try to use NiCd batteries, not the normal ones. Many greetings, Ralf.

Hi David, SD-7 allows around 270 pictures, needs around 9 seconds for full loading. SD-8 is around 250 pictures, loading shall be a bit faster (Nikon says) Added with SK-6 or SK-6A, you will get around 300 pictures and a faster loading. You can add the SK-6 (A) to both, SD-7 or SD-8. The SU-4 can be used for your Vivitar as well. As for Lumiquest, I did a mistake, I meant Lumedyne. Good luck, Ralf.

You should buy the Dynalite Jackrabbit. Greater capacity than a full sizeQuantum Turbo but smaller; two outlets; and a (slightly) lower price. Wein makes a whole series of optical slaves.
