Hi again,I'm happy to report that I am about to receive the remaining components of my "solar system." I'm very excited about it. I'll be hooking it up to my generator, so that if there's no sun, I can charge my batteries with my generator. I have a friend, John, who's been installing solar for about 15 years to do the installation for me. If any of you are interested, he travels to do installations all over the country. He's a great guy. He's set up entire solar communities in Colorado. He helped me get some great used (and new, but sold at used price) equipment. He's now looking for a used switch that automatically starts up my generator.
John feels I can get totally off the grid, but will be installing a switch so I can revert to the grid if necessary.
Rick, I need to purchase your tape on energy management. :)

Victoria,Make sure John puts in the correct switch, else you'll be supplying the grid!
Kind regards James
