this missive is an effort to avoid any further communication problems. i take full responsibility for all the communication mix-ups this previous week.

i bought my cell-phone a couple weeks back with team interests in mind. when i am out of town (and therefore can't come to this bboard to get the session results), please call my cell-phone with your net figures and bankroll on hand after each day's play. all i care about (while i'm out of town) is how far up or down the bank is & how much money you've got. i don't need hours or other details... i will get those off this bboard when i return home. so, please post the detailed version here (in addition to the phone call). if i don't answer, then please leave a message on the phone's voice-mail system. i can't answer while i'm at the BJ tables (security frowns on that). also call (of course) if you need my input on something.

when YOU'RE away on some gambling trip... call me (on my cell-phone) with your net figures & bankroll on hand after each day's play. also give me a phone number, room number & name you are using in case i need to reach you for any reason (new unit sizes, for example). i realize that calling my cell-phone may be unnecessary if i'm at home, but when you're the one who is out of town you don't need the likely hassle of getting a busy signal while i'm on the 'net. when you call, i may ask you for your phone number before anything else; i might do this so that i can call you right back on a real phone to minimize air-time charges (and coincidentally, your phone costs). keep a detailed written account of your progress on a trip report form. when you get home from your trip you can either: transfer the trip report data to a post on this bboard ..OR.. you can just post the final figures [starting bankroll (SBR), unit played to (U), total hours played (H), gross win/loss (G), total amount tipped (T), net win/loss (N), any transfers & who with (XIN,XOUT), ending bankroll (EBR), and anything else you care to mention] and mail me the trip report (hard copy) via snail-mail.

so, all important (and immediate) team business should be communicated to me via my cell-phone. if you just want to shoot the shit about BJ in general or perhaps strategy considerations (that aren't urgent) or just general management issues, then i prefer to deal with them on my regular (not cell) phone line if at all possible, or via email, or via this web bboard.

side note: the toll-free number that i used to use no longer works for me... you can leave a message, but i will never receive it. leave no more messages there please, until further notice.
