A CIA officer assigned to NICP said recently that India and Isreal appeared to be the most likely sources of malicious remediation of US software. "INDIA AND ISREAL APPEAR TO BE THE COUNTRIES WHOSE GOVERNMENTS AND INDUSTRIES may MOST LIKELY USE THEIR ACCESS TO IMPLANT MALICIOUS CODE IN LIGHT OF THEIR ASSESSED MOTIVE,OPPORTUNITY,AND MEANS," The CIA officer Terrill maynard wrote in the June issue of Infastructer Protection Digest.

Confused: I saw that report too. GN asks: "What would be the motivation?" My HO, is that the TPTB's motivation is to have someone they can point their fingers at when TSHTF: "Hey, it's not our fault everything went down. It's the fault of all those dang furriners who inserted bad code!"
