Printers

First off I am a half a hundred year old photographer learning digital photography. I really do appreceiate your News Letters. Very informative. My question is this: I like to make pictures and print them on either 11X14 or 16X20 Do they make a color printer that I can do this with that one can afford. Repectfully E HA

"Afford" is the key qualifier. There are lots of LARGE format printers, but they're all over $5K. (Most way over.) Epson's model 3000 prints on paper up to 17x22, and they've dropped the price to ~$1200 or so. (Still pricey, used to be $3000 when it first came out.) Not as high a photo quality as their Stylus Phot 750 or 1200, but not too b

The Epson Stylus 1200 will produce photos up to 13"x44" Quality is excellent.
