Microsoft's www.hotmail.com is down in Minnesota. Is it screwed up in other places, too?

Ha! Hotmail's screwed up normally.

Where do you want to wait today?

I just checked, justa. It's ok here. Don't count on Hotmail for mission-critical... scratch that. Don't count on Hotmail for mission- anything. Consider it a flaky, non-secure, anonymous (although you must accept a barrage of cookies to enter) email account.

Yes, in SoCal also. I don't know if it's related, but it appears they assigned someone else my "address" differing only by an initial upper case letter (e.g., xxx@hotmail.com vs Xxx@hotmail.com). Same last names on the accounts, but different first names. How I know is that I sometimes get e-mail but with the other guy's name. So, is he getting mine. Hopefully he's gettin all my spam. :-)

And, naturally, now that Hotmail has been taken over by Microsucks, there is no way to report unusual conditions to them.

That is, say my address is "aguy@hotmail.com" the other one is "Aguy@hotmail.com". Looks like someone forgot that e-mail addresses should NOT be case sensitive.
