Quote:
``The goals of the Office Depot Y2K program are very simple,'' said Shawn McGhee, Office Depot's Executive Vice President of Merchandising & Marketing. ``First, to position Office Depot as the industry leader in Y2K information and resources. Also, to alert, educate and prepare our customers for the potential problems posed by the Y2K Bug. Finally, to offer Y2K solutions to our customers.
Boy, oh boy, the cashing in is really firing up kids !

It seems like most department stores are carrying the Freeplay AM/FM radio, and the lantern. And lots of other stores have several types of no-power equipment that usually hasn't been there before.
But it is just people trying to "Get-Rich-Quick" that are causing the problem aren't they ;-)(sarcasm)
