I4m considering to buy one of these film scanners: HP Photosmart S20 or Minolta Dimage Scan Speed. Both of them seems to have almost the same specs, but its price is very different. In your opinion, what scanner does a better scan?

I went through the exact same decision last month. I opted for the Scan Speed and I don't regret it. The Minolta is a SCSI device while the HP is restricted to USB. Also the Minolta has a higher max resolution (2820 dpi). The only thing the HP has going for it is the cheaper price. For web stuff the HP will do, but if you want to print, the Scan Speed is the way to go!
