Have damaged compact disc so can not put my Nikon 900 on to the computor can you help

What do you mean by 'damaged'? If the CD is physically damaged, and can no longer be read, then you have probaby lost the pictures on it. Depending on the damage, it may be possible to read some of the files and transfer them to a new CD.

Can you describe what happens when your computer tries to read the CD?

[I am in the UK, and burn CDs, so might be able to do this.]

In addition the question asked by Alan, are you referring to the software CD (I.E. Software provided with your Nikon CP900) or the CD containing photos (data)? If you are referring to the software CD, you might be able to purchase a new copy from Nikon, or purchase a third party Digital Image software for the same purpose. If you are referring to photo (data) CD, then depending on the type and magnitude of damage, you might be able to salvage some of the photos. Good Luck.
