Connecting a Digi Cam to a telescope?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

Sorry for the semi-spam, but I have seen this question asked so many times with no response that I just want it to be known that there is a ready made solution. We manufacture a very adjustable mount that allows you to connect just about any digital camera to a normal telescope (or microscope, etc.) eyepiece. The only real requirement is that the camera have an active viewscreen so you can see the image to focus. You can see it at: http://www.scopetronix.com Click the "Astrophotography Products" button. There is also a link there with some interesting Moon & Planet pictures that a customer has taken with his digital camera.

Hi Jordan -

No problem with the "semi spam" - We discourage commercial postings only because we don't want it to get out of control, but informative, restrained posts such as yours are no problem. We're about to post an article on astrophotography by one of our readers. I'm sure he'd be interested in reviewing your attachment as well. Email me if you'd be interested in swapping him a sample for a review. We're bogged in camera reviews at the moment, which is why we haven't yet posted his excellent article, but hope to have it up within the next
