Is anybody aware of an informative discussion area or user's group that can help me with my new Minolta Dimage Scan Speed scanner? The owner's manual and their website aren't very helpful and I am going through "culture shock" changing from the Nikon Scan Module to Minolta software.

On photo.net some discussion about the scan speed is going on. Use the following url for the top level and do a search

Also, a good thing to do is some testing with a third party software called Vuescan, to be found at www.hamrick.com.
