Trading in a CP 900 for a 950....good idea or not??

Hi!

I have a Nikon CP 900, which I've been really happy with. I'm debating whether to trade it (sell then buy) for a CP 950. I am not a professional photographer....just a home user but I do print my pictures for home use. My question is.....what would the benefits be to upgrading to a 950 (aside from the external flash addition)? Seeing as I'm not a professional, would it be worth it? I'd really appreciate ANY opinions here. Thanks!

I have just done that. I really liked my 900 but the 950 is so much faster I would say the speed of operation alone is worth it. It is also somewhat smaller and better looking, too. I also like the many new controls available. I too am an amature, but I do like to be able to do more than just point and shoot.

I sold my 900 (in excellent shape with a bag, a telephoto lens and a few other accessories for $500 to a neighbor. How much do you plan to get for yours? I was just wondering if I sold mine too cheap.

Have fun, Bob.
