GREAT PICTURES AND GREAT EDITING SOFTWARE NEED A GREAT BUT CHEAP PRINTER TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR PICTURES !!!!!

There are some low cost printers such as HP Photo Printer for $150.00 that print up to 8 x 10 high quality photographs from your computer on special high gloss and matte paper stock.

Can you please inform me and others as to your experiences with this and other printers that would provide high quality photo printing?

I have had a good experience with the Epson Stylus photo 750- $249 at comp USA, less if purchased over the internet. I used a Deskjet HP 722c before, less expensive, but I see a disctinct improvement in my pics with the Epson.

I have the Epson 1200. It is the same as the 750 except you can print up to 13x23 vs 8x10 on the 750. It runs around $450.

If you looking for a cheaper model, look for the Epson 700. There are closeout for less than $200. It is the same as the 750 except a little slower. The 750 is the newer model.

All of these printers use a 6 color cartridge vs 3 color.
