is the tax relief retroactive or should i wait to but a car until the after 1 jan 1000?

You should not wait to buy a car because the $30 tabs will be yours after this passes in November. I asked the samw question and was hoping that Mr. Benham or Mr. Eyeman would answer, but they didn't. So I think that you can go ahead and buy it and you will be able to get the 30$ tabs, at least that is what I thik I will do when I get teh finanacing done. But this is just my interpretation, which could be totaly wro

Didn't you read the answers you were given on this question last time? The $30 tabs WILL NOT be effective in November. The earliest they could be effective is 12/2/1999 if the initiative is effective on the date specified in the state constitution. The initiative itself indicates it will be effective 1/1/2000. Court cases will be filed that may delay implementation a year or more.

Buy a car now if you want to, but don't expect any refund of MVET if it passes.
