what is best

Hello, I hope you can help me out. I am looking to buy a digital camera. What is the best camera with at least .8 megapixel and at the best price. I have been looking at the Fuji DX-10 $234, Olympus 340R $244, or the MUSTEK MDC-800$199. All of them have about the same res. I have been trying to find reviews on the mustek camera but haven't found any. I have looked at the photos of the fujy and the olympus. I like the colors of the fuji better but the olympus has a little bit better resolution. I am looking for something under $250. I do like the way the mustek camera can be used as a web cam and a regular camera through a vcr, and it is also usb. One thing that bothers me is the speed of the download. I've heared that the serial cable download is really slow, makes the mustek look a lot better. Have I overlooked any other cameras that is very good for the money. Thanks for your time. Bruce Guy

Actually, the res of the 340R is a fair bit higher. BUT - wait right there, Fuji's just announced a model MX-1200 that is the same size and shape as the DX-10, but has 1.3 megapixel resolution (similar to the 340R), has a list price (street lower) of $299, and lots of exposure controls. We should be getting an MX-1200 any day now, will try to get a review posted within 2 weeks of receiving it...
