What happened to the updated Navy assessment?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Last night I tried to access the link on G.N.'s page for the latest Navy assessment graph/report. The Navy page locked up my 'chine for over an hour, and only Norton got me out of a very big problem. After repairs I went looking for other ways to access the info, but found out the page was no longer on the web. Looking through this forum I can't find anything on it. So, what happened? Was it a hoax, or, if not, what was the bottom line of the report?. Did anyone copy it? Why wasn't it BIG news like the so called y2k Pentagon Papers? Questions, questions. Thanks folks for easing the ? in my mind, and making the bulb bright once again. Signed, Dimbulb

can anyone think of any way to make it more difficult to read (send all suggestions to the Navy.........they are apparently trying VERY hard)

and what's with all those C/C's and C/ C/C's that aren't in the legend?

They could change it into a forign language, thats about the only thing they haven't done to make it worse to read. (*grin*) I saved a copy so if it goes away I have a copy.
