Hillary Clinton for President - True

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Well, it's now official. Hillary Rodham Clinton is officially registered as a Democratic candidate for the US Senate seat in NY. But, it's also true that she has registered as well for the Office of the President. And why not? She's been running so much of that office anyway, might as well get official credit starting next year:

Empress Hitlary, Queen of the World.

Wait -- her plans might be thwarted by unexpected disasters.

She's got more balls than most men, nothing stops her. All I can say is, go girl!

"She's got more balls than most men, nothing stops her. All I can say is, go girl!"

Yo!

She be jammin'

Homey you're just jealous, not only are her balls bigger than yours, but she lives in a better neighborhood too.

I don't like her......she scares me.

She's a reptilian :)

-- Andy (2000EOD@prodigy.net), September 05, 1999.

Before Bill Clinton was elected as President of the USA, I saw pictures of Hillary and was (*gasp*) attracted to her.

I thought she was attractive and intelligent and had much potential.

But then I observed what she did while at the White House and became disillusioned.

I'm glad I never voted for her spouse, the louse.

It doesn't matter, the idiotic majority voted them into authority.

And NOW America suffers shame from their evil actions.

Beware the Ides of Y2K: Their power will be swept away!

That is, unless certain Executive Orders are enforced. :(

She's a reptilian :)

What politician isn't...let's at least try the female version for a change.

Clintons. Global Socialism.

Just say NO!

Queen Hilary I and King Willy I.

The worst part is that it gives this admnistration FOUR legal terms. What does it matter who gets the title of president, him or her. They both rule now.

Clintons. Global Socialism.

Like I told you the other night Randolph, you better calm down or you'll stroke out before y2k gets here. ;)

Andy, do you mean a *snake*?

a snake - yesssssssssssssssssssssssss! :)

I'm half-way serious... pig lady represents all that is corrupt and vile...

-- Andy (2000EOD@prodigy.net), September 05, 1999.

Hey, Mabel, I'm calm.

You haven't seen my fiery demeanor.

I reserve that for face-to-face encounters.

All in all, the Clinton presidency has been a mirror of Americans' dissolution and apathy.

History will bear witness that America will get what it deserves!

-- Randolph (dinosaur@williams-net.com), September 05, 1999.

History will not be kind to the Clintons. Much of the story remains to be told!!

You haven't seen my fiery demeanor. I reserve that for face-to-face encounters. I'm a married woman Randolph, I'll have to pass on the face-to-face encounter.

Mabel,

So you're a married woman? Why don't you quit talking like a cheap whore?

-- (sickofThis@crap.com), September 05, 1999.

Sick:

UNCALLED FOR!!! Back off, slime bucket.

Mabel, I've got nothing against women leaders. Margaret Thatcher was an imposing and impeccable example.

I don't trust the Clinton's, but I do agree that they seem to represent America at this time.

If you don't like my posts, because I offend your delicate sensibility then don't read them. I'm very accustom to expressing myself in a variety of ways, and I'm not going to stop just because you get your shorts bunched up. By the way speaking of balls, or the lack of them....what's your usual handle on this forum.

Just curious...I bet Hillary wouldn't hide. Heh heh heh

-- Mabel Dodge (cynical@me.net), September 05, 1999.

Mabel, I think Hillary has a bigger ego.

Thus she will fall faster and farther.

Who will remain to remove her remains?

-- Randolph (dinosaur@williams-net.com), September 05, 1999.

Jon,

I wasn't thrilled with the Reagans....and we all know who really was running the White House then.

Politicians are just that...politicians, their job depends on their popularity. So given that, just how honest are these people really going to be? (Look at ol' Newt)

All you can do is pick the ones with the closest agenda to your own.

If y2k is the real issue facing us, then I want leaders who are tough and smart enough to get us out of this.

I feel Hillary could be one of those leaders.

-- Mabel Dodge (cynical@me.net), September 05, 1999.

they add up to 666

-- Andy (2000EOD@prodigy.net), September 05, 1999.

Andy, I think they both add up to ZERO!

But the dimwitted voters are innumerate!

They think the good times will multiply exponentially!

Nero was the first world leader whose full name/title contained the letters that, when applied to the Hebrew alphabet and added together, totaled 666. There have been others throughout history, but never has there been more than are in power today. There are at least three major world figures whose names add up to 666 and a fourth in the wings. Coincidence?

Hillary = Socialism on a GRAND scale!! Ray I'm not, by my definition anyway, a flaming liberal. But I guess on this forum I'm about as flaming liberal as it's going to get...so in that light here goes:

What is this socialism crap?? You live in this country and get the benefits too. Our government isn't the most efficient machine out there, and the people in it aren't saints, but it beats anything else I've seen.

Better health care...I'll spend my tax dollars on that, I'm sure I'll use it, and you will to Ray. Social security...just another form of welfare, but I hope I get those payments when I'm 65. Most people receive more than they put in. But I'm sure you'll turn your check back in, right Ray???

We all benifit from the Goverment Ray...that doesn't make this a socialist country.

In short Ray, don't worry, the socialists aren't going to knock your door down anytime soon. Hillary will protect you....

-- Mabel Dodge (cynical@me.net), September 05, 1999.

Hey, Mabel:

Don't you think that at the very least Bill Clinton and his wife could have done more to alert Americans to prepare for the potential Y2K crises?

I would have been impressed if they had held crucial news conferences televised live across the nation.

This would have alerted the populace.

Instead, they hired Y2K spinmeisters.

How to you justify that?

-- Randolph (dinosaur@williams-net.com), September 05, 1999.

Mabel - if you knew about the Clintons (and pig lady is far far worse than pig boy) you would be horrified.

Do not take her at face value.

NOT AT ALL.......

Sounds like some of you people have penis envy. Grow up you girlie boys.

-- Leave Hillary (out@of.this), September 05, 1999.

My problem with her is that she CLEARLY made a deal on what was meant by marriage vows, and she CLEARLY shares his love for the truth, and of ethical behavior.

Don't you think that at the very least Bill Clinton and his wife could have done more to alert Americans to prepare for the potential Y2K crises?

I have to concede that one Randolph. I'm not happy, at all about the spin job on Y2K. There is some elitist thinking about how well the masses will handle Y2K. I also admit that the left wing is very good at elitist thinking.

I believe that the main job of the President is to set the tone for the country. If Bill doesn't believe we can handle the truth, then that's the tone in Washington.

However the Republicans aren't beating any bushes to get the truth out either...like I said all politicians are snakes, (Libertarians wouldn't be any different either.)

-- Mabel Dodge (cynical@me.net), September 05, 1999.

My problem with her is that she CLEARLY made a deal on what was meant by marriage vows, and she CLEARLY shares his love for the truth, and of ethical behavior. Chuck What goes on between two people and their marriage is their business. Maybe Newt's wife made a deal with Newt, but she's better at playing the long suffering wife than Hillary.

You never know...

-- Mabel Dodge (cynical@me.net), September 05, 1999.

Portrait of Hillary: deadlier than the male Intelligent-ambitious-ruthless-with a socialist (or worse) agenda that she wants implemented at any cost. She KNOWS what's best for you. Brrrr...

If she assumes the office in actuality,or if Bubba suspends the elections and declares Martial Law in January, we are lost. Say good-bye to what's left of your freedom. People used to worry about an unending Kennedy dynasty. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are merely temporary impediments to her and her co-president.

Fall

You know...I felt the exact same way about Nancy Reagan.

-- Mabel Dodge (cynical@me.net), September 06, 1999.

Mabel... I didn't like Nancy Reagan, thought she was cold, manipulative and dominated her husband. I didn't care for many aspects of Reagan, he was too NWO. Bush was worse. He pretended to be the grandfather of the country, but think George Dubya got his womanizing ways from his daddy. When it comes to the dark side or power and politics, the Republicans and Democrats often sleep together.

Still, I think Hillary is worse! I think Bill's ego is bigger, because she seems to be a lot more careful about the crap she pulls. Still, she lies, cheats and steals and it certainly seems to be for self rather than country. Gutsy? Granted. Arrogant? Absolutely. Look at the coup she tried to pull with health care. (No, I'm not against some kind of reform... but something legal and fiscally sound is preferred.) Ruthless? Frighteningly so. We all need to stop looking at political parties, gender or color, and cautiously do our homework on a candidate, because we need someone with Moral Balls and in a big hurry!

-- Mumsie (Shezdremn@aol.com), September 06, 1999.

It's the men that have screwed up this country so badly. It's men who have been silent on Y2K. It's men who have caused most wars. It's men who spread these lies about the Clinton's. It's men who devised socialism.

It's time for a change people. If anything good comes out of Y2K it may just mean an end to this male dominated patriarchal society.

-- Time for a change (no@more.men), September 06, 1999.

And behind every good man is a woman......with an agenda or gutless and naive. Hillary's agenda needs to be hung out in public to twist in the wind. Just like dogs, some mothers would eat their young. Hillary needs hers for photo ops.

-- Will continue (farming@home.com), September 06, 1999.

Mabel commented:

"Better health care...I'll spend my tax dollars on that, "

Mabel, the first thing Hillary did was try and usurp 1/7 of our economy by instituting National Health Care, she couldn't get it through a Democratic congress. That would have been her stepping stone.

No Mabel, I don't think government can do it better than the private sector.

Ray

Hey, she managed to take Arkansas from 48th place (in edukayshun) to 51st place. Anyone supporting her run for pres. is likely a victim of that stellar system.

-- Gordon (g_gecko_69@hotmail.com), September 06, 1999.

whether you get hc or bc you sort of get the same thing--except one has less self discipline. pure evil. i think they are both controlled by satan. i believe they sold their souls. i do not joke. they have been pushing their democratic, socialistic, one world agenda since day one. there is nothing good or pure about them nor do they care one iota for america and its people or principles. i wish they would just go back to arkansas. but they won't. i think they will be significant players in the end game.

i don't believe all politicians are alike mabel. that is a cop out and an excuse for allowing some politicians to show very immoral behavior. there are some very real and honorable folks. problem is they get outmaneuvered by the dishonorable ones or railroaded by the media.

-- hc (timewilltell@yahoo.com), September 06, 1999.

Bad officials are elected by good citizens who don't vote. Those that do vote, don't know what they're voting for. They rely on the media to tell them, because they won't make time to read. Too busy working so they can be good consumers rather than good citizens. Our priorities are highly questionable, but then, most have learned them in the government run public school systems.

Get a good education so you can make more money. It will cost you an arm and a leg, but it will be worth it during the holiday shopping season.

-- Will continue (farming@home.com), September 06, 1999.

I for one think Hillary would do a fine job. There is just one little problem.......it's called Y2K.

-- Rockafeller Skank (rocky2k@x-networks.net), September 06, 1999.

If socialized medicine controlled by government is the answer, why do Canadians come for medical care to America? Simple answer... they want to live.

-- Mumsie (Shezdremn@aol.com), September 06, 1999.

Never fear Rockafeller Skank....the Clintons and Gores have had Y2K on their desks for 7 years now. Hillary will solve it with the help of Al "silver bullet" Gore. Yup......

SPARE ME -

NO - SPARE US

-- LiarLiar (Pants@Fire.net), September 06, 1999.

I wish somebody would issue Hillary and her bum husband a toe tag.

-- Jonathan Edwards (truth@whitehouse.com), September 06, 1999.

Mabel

I don't know if all of the stories about Hillary Rodham are true. If they aren't then she has been the victim of some of the most vicious slander in history.

However, while I feel that there are a great many qualified women who could be terrified Presidents, I don't think Hillary is the one.

We are all tired of the Clintons. All their talk. All their casual, responsibility-evading passive voice ("mistakes were made"). All their smokescreening and lies, all done in a self-righteous and arrogant and hostile way. Please just GO AWAY!! WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF YOU!!

Hillary may not be as bad as her husband. Clearly, she is idealistic and has passionate views about child welfare and universal health care. I happen to not agree with her means, because they would only serve to undermine the powers of the states and the people. But I think she means well most of the time.

But that's not good enough. She has stood by her husband who seems to have done some pretty awful things. She's blythely lumped all of his critics into a "vast, right-wing conspiracy" and ridiculed women who just "sat around the house, baking cookies, standing by their man." She sometimes exhudes the air of a chilly, northeastern, condecending, snappy, first-born elite who doesn't love her people but has quiet contempt for them, and only seeks office because she's convinced she always knows what's better for them. Her demeanor doesn't sit well with me. She will never be able to sell me those grand social engineering schemes with that kind of air.

Furthermore, if Hillary's on the stage, that means that we'll have to see more of Bill from time to time. I don't want to see him now. I have to turn off the tv or radio if i hear him speaking I am filled with such disgust. Again, let me reiterate, I simply wish the two of them will just GO AWAY! If they can't be impeached, hell, why doesn't somebody just bribe them to quietly resign?
