If you had your entire orienteering life to do all over again what would you do differently?

If I had it to do over again.... I would have looked harder for an O club near my university or home in 1985. I learned to orienteer in 1984 when I was studying in Ireland, and I loved it. When I returned to the US, I didn't try to find O at school or home. In 1985, I moved to St. Louis, and still did not inquire about O. It wasn't until 1989, when I ran into Nels Holmberg (who was wearing an O t-shirt), that I re-discovered O. I wish I had been orienteering during those 4 years.

I would have bought the WINNING lottery ticket while Mike and I were training in New York in the mid 80's.

I would have tried making a map sooner.
