HOMEPAGE FOR AFRIKAANS SPEAKING CHRISTIANS LIVING ABROAD http://www.cnwinfo.co.za/afrikris

Many Afrikaans speaking Christians, who were members of Afrikaans Reformed Churches in SA, moved abroad. We designed and are developing a website (see link above) as part of a project launched by these churches to assist their members to resettle in a similar Christian environment in their new homeland.

If you are one of the migrants from South Africa, we would love to hear about your adventures', how you coped with the process of change and whether you have any tips on how to adapt and adopt(!) in a new country.

If you feel that there are some ways in which any of these Afrikaans Reformed Churches could have helped you, or in what way they could be of assistance to prospective migrants, please tell us about it. The Churches are sincere in their search for answers to the question of pastoring and counselling their members in such a major, and quite probably traumatic, shift in their lives. Suggestions on the further development of the website and additional links or information that could still be added, would be appreciated.

If you know of anyone else who might be interested in this project, please forward this message to them. In the meantime I am looking forward to hear from you. Warm regards and best wishes,

Dienkie (Please e-mail me for the Afrikaans version of this letter)
