Ilfotec DD-X processing times

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

Ilford's Ilfotec DD-X finally arrived (Oregon), and I am anxious to use it on Ilford's Delta films. downloaded the recommended times from Ilford's web site, but as I found with Kodak, they have the probability of being rather conservative. if anyone has used DD-X, I would great appreciate hearing of your observations regarding processing times, i.e. real world versus Ilford's published figures for Delta (100,400,3200) films.

HI. I HAVE USED DD-X ON ILFORD DELTA 400,DELTA 320O AND HAVE GOOD RESULTS WITH BOTH. PUBLISHED TIMES ARE PROBABLY ABOUT CORRECT FOR THE 400 BUT I FOUND THAT THE TIME FOR THE 3200 WAS 1.5 T0 2 MINUTES SLOW FOR MY METHOD OF WORKING DEVELOPING TEMP 20 CENTIGRADE IN TANK WITH CONTINUOS ROTARY AGITATION.
