Are there members of your congregation serving in the Armed Forces away from home? Have these young men and women found the vital Christian fellowship they need to remain strong in the Lord?

If you don't know the answer to the second question or the answer is, "No," I want you to know that the Christian Military Fellowship is prepared to assist your military members find New Testament Christian fellowship wherever they may be stationed around the world!

The CMF, a ministry serving the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ, has contacts with more than 200 of our churches located near U.S. military bases, 31 military chaplains from the CC/CofC and more than 30 overseas missionaries who offer fellowship to servicemen and women at our request. In addition, we have more than 400 military members of the CMF located at bases all over the world.

All we need to receive from you to begin helping your military people find vital Christian fellowship is the person's name, rank, branch of service, mailing address, phone number (optional), Email address (if any), baptismal status, marital status, name of spouse and number of children.

This information may be sent to us via Email to cmf@cncnet.com, by regular mail to the address in the signature block below, or by completing the Serviceman Information Form included at the CMF website, whose web address is also listed below.

There is no charge for our services and all we ask in return is that you pray for your servicemen and women, and for the CMF ministry!

We, of course, realize that some churches prefer to personally assist their military people to find fellowship. If you are one of those churches, I would invite you to use the CMF website as a resource. The website contains addresses, phone numbers and, in most cases, Email addresses of all the churches, chaplains and ministers that work with us, listed by state and country, and by each of more than 300 military bases around the world. And the website includes links to the websites of more than 100 churches located near U.S. military bases.

Finally, please advise your military people who have Email of the existence of the Christian Military Fellowship website so that they can access the information for themselves. Again, the website address is included in the signature block below.

For your information, I am a retired Air Force major and a member of Foothill Blvd. Church of Christ, Oroville, CA, the sponsoring congregation for the CMF ministry. I have led this ministry for the past 21 years, beginning while I was still on active duty. I will look forward to hearing from you soon!

In Christ,
