In Gladys Hansen's book "San Francisco Almanac", she lists TransAmerica Pyramid as San Francisco's tallest building. The height is 853 feet with 48 stories. The second tallest is Bank of America World Headquarters (probably has a new name now that BofA is in Charlottee NC) at 779 feet with 52 Stories.
