Charles Cannon Love's Mill, Rocky River

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Genealogy Queries for Stanly County, North Carolina : One Thread

Does anyone know of a source that gives a picture of the Love's Mill for which Love's Mill Road is named? Love's full name is (I think) Charles Cannon Love, and the mill was on Rocky River in Stanly Co, where Love's Mill Road crosses Rocky River. I'm looking for info on (1) a photo or sketch of the mill, and (2) a list of the owners or managers of the mill over the years. Thanks.

I, too would be interested in learning more about the Love's Mill. My ancestress Elizabeth Kiker Clontz was the second wife of Charles Cannon Love. Thanks. Betty K Price

Cannon James, are you named after Charles Cannon Love, Sr., or his son, Charles Cannon Love, Jr., or his grandson, Charles Cannon Love III?
