The schedule for awareness/preparedness expo's in the North East/Central Ohio, Western NY, areas (y'all Pittsburghers are welcome it's only a 2 hour drive [+/-]) is as follows:Sept 18-19 Berea Fairgrounds 1 mile west on Bagley, off I-71 (just south of Cleveland)
Oct 2-3 Hamburgh NY Erie County Fairgrounds (just off the Thruway near Buffalo
Nov 6-7 Akron, OH
Dec 4-5 Cincinnatti (for those of you who don't like to plan ahead) In the convention Center, Downtown by Reds Stadium.

Chuck:I notice those meetings are in the eastern and southern regions of Ohio.
Apparently northwestern Ohio has a large ostrich population.

I went to a preparedness expo in north Dayton, Ohio a few weeks ago. It was sparsely attended. Most of the merchandise was over-priced surplus stuff that can be purchased much more cheaply thru the mail, so it's hard to say if the lousey turnout was due to serious polly-ism or just very savvy buyers.My advice: skip the expo & check out www.cheaperthandirt.com or even a local army surplus store.
