The tremendous increase in forfeiture seizures is one more item of proof that the U.S. is a police state, despite the fact that you can finance a new SUV for 48 months. (The Roman Empire had bread and circuses, and increasing government debasement of money, increasing political corruption, increasing taxes and forfeiture, then it collapsed. Then came the "dark ages.")
