DVD-players and PAL VCDs

hello everyone! is there any DVD-players on the market which properly play pal video cds on ntsc tv? I mean that they scale the image and do not cut 60 bottom lines. thanx!

There are some DVD players that specifically play PAL & NTSC DVDs & VCDs and output true signals (not pseudo, like PAL-M or NTSC4.43) in both, like the Pioneer DVK301C. But you need a multisystem TV with them to display the video properly; these DVD players are not common in North America. You can find them in Hong Kong, for example.

I just bought a SONY DVP330 DVD player. When I use it to play PAL VCD with a NTSC TV, it seems not cutting any line(bottom or top) to fit the screen. Althouth I am not very sure, neither the manual claims it can play PAL VCD. But I am quite satisfied with its PAL VCD playback capability.
