I have a Nikon Coolpix 950 and I am unable to mount the camera using the printer port on my MAC 8500 even though I chose it in the Nikon Mount dialog box. If I plug the camera into the modem port, all works fine. I understand that there is a firmware update for the 950 but how can you update if you occupy the modem port. Sure would appreciate an answer to this one....Thanks

Have you installed the latest SerialDMA extention? I had a similar problem with my CP 700. You can get the SerialDMA upgrade at asu.info.apple.com. Hope that's all it takes.
