Info on Fuji 2700 or Kodak dc280...or other ideas

I want to buy a digital camera..but to be honest I am very confused. Someone reccomended the Fuji 2700 because it's so small and easy to take with you everywhere (that sounds logical)......but I hear alot about the Kodak dc280.....does anyone have experience with either or some good reccomendations for me. I want to be able to blow pix's up tp 8x10 and stay in the $600-$700 range.
