Bonneville power has now power plants. It is only a group for transmission.

I don't know what goes on with my keyboard on posts on this site. I guess there must be a nut loose on the keyboard. Let's try again, Bonneville power, has no, repeat, zero, power plants.

Judy Johansen, head of the Bonneville Power Administration, "will probably keep a portable electric generator handy at her home. Not to supply power in the event of a major regional blackout, she said. "I want to be prepared for a winter storm," she said.."

Now what difference does the reason really make? The idea that one reason to have an alternate power resource is acceptable but another is not is a little ridiculous to me. The point is that being prepared for an emergency empowers you to deal with a problem _regardless_ of why the problem might occur. Prepared is better than unprepared. Simple. I am still amazed at the volatility of Y2K arguments about preparation, when it seems such a no-brainer to me.

Bonnie, if you make any y2k prep. you are certifiably crazy. You may look like a movie star, but you are nuts. Marcella (also known as "Chicken Little, 'the sky is falling, the sky is falling'" and "The Little Red Hen." If you don't know the story of the Little Red Hen I will post it.)
