I am working as a photographer. I would like to archieve slides and photos both (for Publishing purposes in Medical Journals). Should I buy UMAX Powerlook III with transparency adapter or I'll go for Canon Or Minolta Slide and Film scanner. I am very new to digital Imaging quite consfused please help me. God Bless U. Thanks

take a look at www.scantips.com it will give some very good information. I too am looking for a reasonable way to scan 35mm slides and so far I think the HPs20 is the best one in a price range for a non professional I think you can buy this one for less than $400.00 US
