Canon BJC-6000-Primax scanner.Need your comments..

I cannot find any net reviews about Primax (www.primax.nl) scanners and i'm wondering if someone here has any experience with those products. The model that i'm interested is the Colorado USB 19200 (600 x 1200 dpi optical resolution). Any thoughts about Primax scaners? I also need a inkjet printer. I was pleased with the print quality output of my old Cannon BJC-4200 when printing with the high resolution paper but now i'm looking for a more speedy printer for color. I like the new BJC-6000 and despite the moderate comments i've read on net reviews about color quality, i believe that with the-cheap-Canon high resolution paper and a little driver tweaking, color quality should be superb, just like in the old BJC-4200. Canon inks are cheaper from the cometition too. Any experience with this printer? Should i go for an Epson or HP instead? Thanks for any comment.

Nick, I recently bought a Canon BJC 6000 printer and although I'm happy with the quality of the photos I have a serious problem. When the picture is about 1/2 or 3/4 printed, it kicks out of the printer and finishes on a second page. I have spent MANY hours with Canon's tech service people but so far they have been of no help. I have a feeling the problem is not mine alone. Beware! Regards, Lew K.
