Y2K Call In Radio Show TONIGHT - RA

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

OK, I know I posted this before, but it has run off the list and is outdated. Just wanted to remind anyone and everyone that they can join us tonight on the web for a LIVE RA broadcast on Y2K. You can CALL us toll free, at 1-800-456-1868 and feel free to ask me any question. It seems that even though I state my position over and over, and answer any and all questions, somehow there are always those in this forum that say I don't answer THEIR questions. Well, tonight, starting at 8:00 PM, Central Standard Time, we will go live on the net. And, yes, we will put it up for others to listen throughout the month if you miss this. Our chat room will be down, but someone else has volunteered theirs, I think there will be a link posted on our site, so IF you want, you can also go there and post questions or comments.

Hey, you may disagree with my position, but at least I am willing to give you your shot, on my dime, to say your peace. Be sure to bring up the Jim Lord copy of a copy of this remarkable secret document, because we can discuss it on the show (I don't think you will see it on the network news tonight, do you? Wonder why?)

Web site is www/ccmag.com I think you can follow the links to the radio show, or the direct address might be http://www.ccmag.com/ra

Hope to hear from you...

Gary North to be on the Art Bell show tonight (Thu PM / Fri AM) (See www.artbell.com, maybe has station listings -- most cities can get at least two stations carrying the program -- if not local, then neighboring city(s).)

Steve: What is this "secret document" you mentioned?

Hey Steve, I find the following excerpt from your bio interesting-

"It didn't take the Lord long to lead Steve in the realization that there needed to be a publication designed to help Christians and churches become better aware of the many software products being developed just for them".

You seem to be a bit skeptical of Jim Lord's claims regarding the "Master Utility List". Could you explain to us, in detail, how the lord communicated to you. Perhaps you could give us some supporting documentation that God lead you to do anything. Is God "really" that interested in software?

As I understand, Koskinen has confirmed the existance of the document. So, regardless if the data is dated, mis-interpreted etc., we know it exists.

Are we to just accept, on your word, that God communicated to you to start your mag.? Why you? Why not lead another publisher? Why not lead Gates? Exactly, why were you to be the chosen one?

'for real' that is a different Steve.

duh -

Nope, that's Steve Hewitt, all right: Steve's bio

I was listening to this babble and just had to turn if off after 8 min. of the most foolish, uninformed, misleading crap I have ever heard. These people neither know how a computer works and are only interested in perpetuating thier ministries.

Well, the blood of all those who listen to them will be on thier hands

Mac, I think "For Real" is confusing Steve Hewitt with Steve Davis. It was Steve Davis who commented on Jim Lord's info.

For a bunch of people that like to call themselves "GI's", you guys really don't "get it". Bob P, I read your post on the show LIVE. Why not have the guts to give us a call, IT was FREE. It probably only took you 8 minutes of reading some doom and gloomers book to make up your mind about Y2K as well. Let's see, we have been running a world wide magazine on computers for over a decade. And you listened to the show for 8 minutes and not only decided that we didn't know enough about computers for you to listen to us. Why not listen more... didn't want to have to listen to a different viewpoint. Are you that closed minded. Why didn't you or others call? If I am not worth your time, why come back here and post your slam...

I hope you all have the guts to give me a call sometime next year... not right away of course, because even after Jan 1, 2000 comes you will still hold onto your belief that it (Y2K) is coming... so whenever, June 2000, August 2000, whenever, give me a call and let me know then what you think about our knowledge of computers.

Steve, I sure would like to apologize for any confusion that there may be; this has, unfortunately, been a crazy day. We seem to have two "Lord"s and two "Steve"s to straighten out.

OK, there is Lord as in Lord God, and I guess He kind of speaks for himself. Not to be confused with Jim Lord, who I am sure you will be hearing a lot more about in the next few days, since he has publicized a Navy report listing U.S. cities that are expected to be toast.

Then there was Steve Davis, who commented on Lord's work (no, dummy, JIM Lord; gawd!) -- don't worry about him, he is just another Koskinen flunky.

And, finally, there is you. A pathetic, frigging moron.
