How does Ilford Delta 400 perform when pushed or pulled? The data sheet says that it works well from EI200 to EI1600 what are peoples experience of this?

Thanks.

Delta 400 is my primary MF film. I often shoot it at ISO 100 or 50, pulling it 30% to 40% in PMK. I have no experience with pushing. http://www.ravenvision.com/rvapeter.htm

MF = medium format.

I haven't had much luck pushing Delta 400. It was okay at 800 in XTOL but beyond that I wouldn't recommend it. I've had much better results pushing HP5+.

John, i have had beautiful results with pushing delta 400. when exposed at 800, it prints and retains almost exact characteristics as when shot at 400. i use ID-11 (D-76) to process it. My normal for 400 is 11min, 15 sec @ 68f.. and 800 is 16min. 45 sec @ 68f. good luck, Sean.
