Well said Caroline. A good dog, well groomed and well trained, shown by its owner will win as much as a good dog, well groomed and well trained, shown by a pro. It is not necessary to dye and add some pieces of fur on the head of a Poodle to win. BIS winner at the "99" Canadian National Specialty wasn't dye nor switched (11 months old Toy). The "99" winner dog (Toy) and BPISS at the PCA wasn't dye nor switched (11 months old). The BIS at the "98" Canadian National Specialty (Standard) wasn't dye nor switched.
