Here's a little something I picked up on my quest for food prep. Butterbuds makes a good butter substitute, that has a shelf life of 4 years. Sarah,For baking foods, butter flavored crisco is a good alternative. It would not work as a spread for bread, pancakes, potatoes,etc.
