Have to have surgery.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : DaVinci's Exile Test : One Thread

Ok all the other tests were clear but the last one shows that I need surgery. Dang! I almsot made it too! LOL Anyway at least so far it doesn't look like cancer. So I can relax til the next pre-surgery test is done. I'll keep you all posted or have Mr. Laighe or Jams do it for me. With any luck I'll have about two weeks or so before the surgery and time to chat with everyone before hand. When I get better let's have a party ok? : )See you all soon! hugs from your friend - Laighe

For being a state worker...I have some advice: 1- Make sure the Union covers this?(start a rally and collect more dues) 2- Don't go with the lowest bidder for the surgery, they always have to come back again and again. 3- Once inside the operating room-make sure the doctor hasn't gone a three week vacation? 4- make sure they finish before 4pm...or it's time and a half($$$)- there after! 5 - Check your contract!....that's all...LOL, just having fun with ya..got to talk to you soon by Wash

Thanks for the good wishes. : ) Dang, Wash, if only I was in a union! The city doesn't cover anyone who works less than 40 hours per week. So, I have insurance through Mr. Laige's company. Now I have to find a surgeon who is on our HMO/PPO network list. Sheesh!!!!! I should know somthing more in a few days.

Bet those HMO MDs are all fighting to get the position of Lead Director of your procedure! The party may begin the minute you get the first demerol injection, and when you later see all those party hats, with the moo cows on them, the glitter in the air, and all those multi-colored paper spirals they are throwing to celebrate your recovery you might ask them all to "Play it again, Sam?" Have you considered doing this live on the net so we can cheer for you? I am sending you a Moo-Moo [Mumu]with black-and-white Holsteins on it to wear home! Love, Sib
