Digital Photo Print Service Companies?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread |
I am interested in locating photo finishing companies that will take digital image files (electronically) and print them as traditional photographs and mail them back.Normally I will use my inkjet printer with photo inks and papers, but occasionaly I would like a high quality print to frame or give away.
My internet search turned up Mystic Color Lab and Galleria Ventures. Do you have any reccommendations?

The prints from Mystic Color Lab are from an AGFA system. They are washed out, too glossy and they lack detail. I'm still looking for a better system...

Signature color (www.signaturecolor.com) has this service and I believe they are using Kodak. Their charge is probably the least expensive one, as far as I know. I've used them a few times for some small (3x4 or wallet size) prints. I would be very interested in seeing how their prints would look like with 2MP on 8x11.

I have tried a new service from Kodak called Quick Prints - www.kodak.com/go/quickprints - the prints were very good and you can also order photo gifts if you like. They charge $1.99 for first class mail to your home.candice
