There's gonna be a change in the Weather around here. Diane has asked me to help oout a bit with the moderator task here, and she has agreed with me that we need to do something to try to restore som order to the chaos that currently seems to be the rule here, or at least the perception of the rule here. To that end, I will remind everyone of the posting guidelines:

If your post does NOT have a point which forwards the discussion of the topic if it's an answer, or Year 2000 if it's a new thread, it will vanish . I really don't care WHAT position the posts espouse, if they are phrased in a civil manner, avoid a slanderous approach, and forward the discussion, they will stay. However, if they DO NOT, they will vanish without a trace, and WITHOUT DISCUSSION. Start a thread about WHY DID MY POST GO AWAY, and IT TOO will vanish. If you wish to discuss WHY a post or thread went away, my e-mail address is at the bottom of every one of my posts, and it works. Since I DO work for a living, you may not get an instant response to your question, but I will TRY to get back as soon as I can.

I would be interested in your opinion about Andy Ray. He is guilty of posting information that threatens the security of the forum. As you are now the vocal Sysop. I am asking this before I decide a course of action in dealing with him. If you think that we should let him hang himself or possibly moderate his position it would be your choice and I will respect it.

The last thing I want to to is bring a position to the forum without the back up of you and Pat. Bringing Andy Ray down to the level of the rest of us humans would be a pleasure. Unfortunately this would also involve the Debunker board. This also would be a pleasure but it would also complicate a change in manner that you have been trying to instill on the forum. As you know I like a freeform forum with a light delete button but in Andy Rays case the question could come up.

Steven Poole got drummed out of the forum for less that Andy Ray has done. Of course Steve is possibly involved in some manner, but that is only a guess.

I actually think Steve's joke was kind of funny :o) He made Paul Milne a total idiot (on CSY2K), to bad you can't see how many shades of purple Paul's face can turn. :o)

I've been doing a brief scan in the morning then leaving the messes up to Chuck and Patrick to deal with.

Just MHO, but "Andy Ray" bears watching. Also most the De Bunkers like cpr and even Jimmy Bagga have multiple personalities on TBY2K... even Stephen Poole. He's still with us.
