Any have any experience with the Sony RUVI; a combo still and Hi8 recorder?

its a really neat little camcorder that's unfortunately flawed. the picture quality is good but the cartridge running time is terrible if you're using it away from home and can't transfer it to your vcr. the screen is good in daylight but useless in poorly lit areas, you just guess and shoot ! i believe that replacement cartriges are also expensive because of the fact that the motor etc is housed in the cartridge. its a real shame .
