I asked a question about P&S lenses about 4 questions ago. The inquiry was not artfully stated and this question is to clarify it.

I'm not seeking a comparison of brands, but a comparison of lenses in expensive P&S of one brand vs. lenses in more expensive cameras of the same brand.

In other words, how do Leica Minilux lenses stand up to M-6 lenses, how do Contax T2 lenses compare with Contax G2 lenses?

I'm guessing they are not as good (because cheaper), but what is the margin of difference?

I know this isn't in exactly the right forum (film and processing)but I find none more appropriate.
