CIAO, baby!

I can't understand why on earth they went with this acronym for the Critical Infrastructure Assurance Office unless they really want us to think it's goodbye. I will try to hotlink to yesterday's testimony to the y2k senate oversight committee.

CIAO

It's CIAO to privacy. BIG BROTHER is watching and will protect(and control) the cybernetwork. Of course, John Q.Public can pay in more ways than one.

Gotta LOVE this sentence (from the above CIAO site):

"The CIAO sees the important work being done by the President's Council on Year 2000 Conversion and the ICC as an opportunity to listen and learn."

'bout says it all, doesn't it.

Whew! It's just another gov.org! For one awful instant, mommacares, I was afraid YOU were bidding us farewell. Being wrong can feel SO good!
